Timing is everything now, isn’t it Mick?  Michael Burry of 2006-2008 fame around our last financial dislocation, took to Twitter over the weekend. He’s not a fan of Biden/Yellen economic theory.

Seems as though a broad segment of our political class has attended the Cuomo School of Political Communications?

This piece caused me to reflect on a Stanford experience where I unabashedly demonstrated my gullibility/ignorance. It has proved to be a great and lasting experience.

The assignment was a “survival” case after an off course plane crash. Looking to gain an advantage, I recruited a faculty member from the medical school as our team’s strategic maven. As luck would have it, this medical expert didn’t know his butt from second base when the subject was outdoor survival. We lemmings followed the good doctor to the fastest death of anyone.

Now we have Bill Gates, a fellow who knows zip about energy policy and sees no benefit from diversified energy sources, telling us to go green, go electric.

I’ve learned my lesson. I’ll consider Gates perspective/opinions in regards to networking and operating systems. With regards to energy policy, not so much.

I saw where MSNBC spent 30 minutes on the Cruz story…zero minutes on the Cuomo story.

And the Cuomo problems “didn’t come up” this week when he met with Biden for a federal handout.

    Good line.

This may bring a smile to some faces around here. An elected official pushing back against Soros funded DA’s.

Let’s go off in the weeds again, shall we?  Why wasn’t this simple fact reflected in the headline?  Is this dissembling to avoid a serious review of why we are doing such a poor job of getting vaccine in patients arms?  The “Cuomo” effect?

The efficacy of the vaccine is being demonstrated forcefully in lower hospitalization rates

The government’s role in criminal activities that pay taxes is rarely discussed. I wonder why?  Can you imagine if the feds had to settle with states for profiting from the opiod epidemic?  That would be epic

Right you are.  And directly from the horse’s mouth, gross incompetence as well. The FDA has regulatory authority over such things.

Perhaps the canary in the coal mine is the 2021 Mayoral election in NY City.  Will the residents wake up and go back towards Guilliani/Bloomberg?  Will they go Yang?

One would hope there would be a swing of the pendulum back towards accountable government, a livable city, a reduction in crime rates?  Maybe no if AOC’s thoughts about government are more mainstream than I think.
