rjnwmillParticipantBTD, you are the poster child for the fundamental issue highlighted by General Honore. You’re stuck on stupid. Presenting a NARRATIVE from Vanity Fair…sort of like the dossier, the insurrection, the abandonment of the Kurds, Russian disinformation as the source for the Biden laptop…instead of facts from the CDC. Here are the facts:
These statistics are current. They are from an organization tasked to achieve “equity” in vaccine distribution. They show unequivocally that vaccination rates lag in black and hispanic populations in spite of effort and EXPENSE directed at equity. Perhaps we can call the Biden equity programs as “much ado about nothing” if we consider the results? The administration was GIVEN three viable vaccines, by Trump, right? They have failed to meet their own goals for pokes in arms. They have underserved their own voters. Amongst honkeys, the demographic that lags in vaccination uptake is the young, under 29 I believe. They vote democrat too, no?
If I believe your Vanity Fair BS, I’m left to conclude that the black and hispanic communities are bastions of republican voters? Yea, that’s right. Perhaps you or Vanity Fair can square this circle for me. Or perhaps you’re simply spreading more bull shit hoping there are enough fools here to accept your gift and say thank you? It begs the question, do you actually believe what you’re being fed by the media? After the last four years? Get help my friend.

rjnwmillParticipantI haven’t followed the story. However I think I heard that the building has been “shifting” for some time. That the movement has been monitored, and that their is a history of tenant complaints/litigation?
The basic story line reminded me of something I’ve seen several years ago related to a condominium building in SF? The foundation movement was creating a West Coast leaning tower?
Am I anywhere close on either situation?

rjnwmillParticipantTwenty years from now, will women have to return to the gender dictated roles of my parents day and age? How can they demonstrate strength, resolve and leadership broadly through mass media; serve as role models? How do they differentiate themselves in sports in direct competition with men?
Thank goodness for Food Network. It may be the last venue for competitive women?

rjnwmillParticipantAhhh, so you’re questioning the value to society of the “community organizer”?
I fell for that “community organizer” bs 13 years ago. Thought after 230 years the greater good rested with an African American in the White House. Easier to do a little self deception/avoid critical thinking with a McCain/Palen ticket.
My Shirley Chisholm vote looks better than my misguided 2008 selection.

rjnwmillParticipant“Their leadership lied to them repeatedly about “the steal” – and continues to lie about it.”
You like the weeds, don’t you?
The last rightest/Trump lie/conspiracy theory, the source of the CCP virus being the Wuhan lab was the gospel of democrats and the media for a year? Until now…when facts emerge. A year of lost time because Trump suggested the truth and the truth wouldn’t facilitate the perversion of election processes highlighted by legend.
Give it a rest.

rjnwmillParticipantThat sums it up beautifully.
And I pity those who have grown comfortable in the weeds. Like pigs in the slop. They can’t/won’t contribute to effective change management.

rjnwmillParticipantThe school’s BoT, the administration and the faculty are the modern day emperors lacking clothing. The uninvolved that legend highlights, fail to speak up at the cost of their own daughters. The very definition of misogyny.

rjnwmillParticipantMick, sort of CS I admit, but without remorse I’ll ask a question. My gut suggests there is a qualitative and significant difference between a tax on income and an ownership tax on an asset that has been increasing in value. (Property tax) In one case the taxpayer is having his net worth reduced directly by the amount of the tax. In the other, the taxpayers net worth may well increase if the increased valuation on the asset exceeds the taxes paid.
Do you have a comparison of effective tax rates, by this I mean the impact on wealth accumulation in the two states? My initial thoughts cause me to think of Lynyrd Skynyrd.

rjnwmillParticipant
The escape of the virus is not as interesting to me as how it was that so many western governments (and US states) were able to immediately collude and weaponize this event against their own people.
Follow the money. Public union pension reflation, redefinition of work rules in schools, adjusted voting structures to address poorly understood public health risks, adjusting supply and demand balances for low skilled employment with the attendant safety net costs; all while drug addiction of US citizens becomes both visible and unappealing in growing homeless populations.
Think the wisdom of Rahm Emanuel. There was an opportunity for personal exploitation by the political class. Powerful motivation.

Thanks Mick. Seems as though guys like this could execute a logical plan to remove the ambiguity around the genesis of the virus.
If the CCP continues to dissemble, it’s as good as a confession. The same can be said for Faucci, Dr. Daszak & the WHO.

rjnwmillParticipantMy, my, my. Japan is slow on the approval & subsequent uptake of a “Trump vaccine”.
Why would that be when the efficacy of Trump’s/Pfizer’s vaccine has been demonstrated broadly in the US population?

rjnwmillParticipantI believe this also damages Ukraine. So beyond the obvious economic benefits, Biden offers the Russians geopolitical benefits.

rjnwmillParticipant“hundreds of residents of Lod, a city near the country’s main airport, came out waving Palestinian flags and set fire to cars, apartments inhabited by Jews and a synagogue in a mixed neighborhood.”
“The strife between Israel’s Jews and its two million Arab citizens, a fifth of its population, represents a more complicated challenge than the country’s external enemies.”
Is the WSJ perhaps engaged in a bit of hyperbole? This summary describes the best work of our “political pros” during the 2020 election cycle, no?
