While I’m disappointed with the result, I am okay now as the disposition of the dispute resulted from the decision of the nine wise souls.

Time to move on and prosecute the hell out of The Godfather, Giuseppe Biden’s family, break up the social media companies and get a dose of Trump vaccine.

Lying is a necessary political skill. Standing on a debate stage dissembling about important maters of public policy; packing the court and the sizing of a stimulus package is disqualifying.

Rocky, no surprise here, this action is our politics in microcosm. It is playing out as things tend to do now; weak political leadership  hides personal inaction and the avoidance of responsibility in court actions. Why step forward and do your job when you can sit on the sidelines and hide behind the robes.

Each of the four state legislatures could take a vote on the Trump/Republican initiative to override the reported vote totals and appoint electors independently. Not a one has voted. Further, the Republican GA legislature could address security issues associated with absentee ballots in advance of the runoffs scheduled in January. They’ve done nothing. It’s “safe” to stay happily on the bench without having to take a stand on issues at the core of our systems of self rule. Honestly, does anyone believe there are no opportunities to upgrade election procedures & infrastructure in GA?

Our “leadership” has learned and diligently practices the lessons of “lead from behind” all too well. Fortunately, Adams, Jefferson & 54 other brave souls signed the Declaration of Independence. I agree with Legend, the court should hear the arguments and offer an opinion on the Texas litigation.

Rocky, I imagine you are somewhat tongue in cheek, and honestly I haven’t been following football much lately. But it’s getting difficult for me to keep up. So many players & Stanford coaches with the same last names, don’t you know. How do you make sense of, “Peace takes the snap from Black Lives Matter and looks over the middle for Peace. End Racism wins on the edge against Love and pressures Peace. Peace dumps the ball to flat to an open Black Lives Matter who is tackled immediately by End Racism.”

ps:  I don’t think our defense is all that…except at blocking kicks.

I was thinking the same thing today rogpodge.

However upon reflection I remember that during the good years Shaw’s teams often started slowly and improved during the season. That tendency works better on full seasons with 12 games where the kinks are ironed out against non conference opponents.

It would be like Governor Newsom or Bernie Sanders looking the other way if there was some clear fraud that favored Republicans in their state. It wouldn’t happen.”

This is amusing.  In your judgment doesn’t it “count” if the shenanigans are in full relief during a party primary? Let’s get grounded in reality, shall we?  Between you and me, let’s not forget that leopards generally don’t change their spots, do they?

Should we forget the trusting fool who famously stated on a debate stage, “I don’t care about your damn emails”?  Should we forget that the same fool lost, never exploring whether his competitor had debate questions in advance?  Should we forget that the law firm that is the centerpiece of Biden’s election integrity unit contracted for and directed payments to Steele for his “dossier” for the sole purpose of deception during a general election?  Should we forget that the same law firm sat quietly as a special counsel was appointed and DoJ staffers slow played the production of the evidence of the conspiracy? As a purposeful fraud against the FISA Court was perpetrated?  As the rights of a private citizen, one Carter Page were trampled under foot?  The same Perkins firm watched as the orderly functioning of our government was purposely compromised for two years by a special counsel investigation?

You’re comfortably numb using language like “conspiracy theories”…as the same assholes reappear at the center of our election processes. I guess their character is unimpeachable in your opinion?

The election monitor also told Lead Stories that between 8 p.m. on November 3, 2020, and 12:43 a.m. on November 4, 2020, the scanners had scanned about 10,000 ballots.

According to the Georgia Secretary of State’s office, Biden received 2,474,507 votes, while Trump received 2,461,837 — a winning margin of 12,670 votes for Biden. In other words, the votes counted during this period would not have changed the results of this election even if they all were switched from Trump to Biden.

BTD, you of course recognize this statement is false on its face.   Does it cause you to consider the reliability of the argument here?

If 10,000 votes were switched from Trump to Biden the impact on the final count would be 20,000 votes…more than enough to reverse the result.

Do you know if the statements that were made to the Lead Stories reporter over the phone were under oath?  Are the “witness’s” accounts offered under penalty of perjury?  Perhaps important as the folks who state they were told that counting was done for the night and to vacate the premises are at risk if they are lying to the court. Perhaps simply sloppy reporting?

If your going to post faux outrage, broaden your “bipartisan” focus.

Our politicians/political actors have no problem when others persons and property are actually destroyed. They only become outraged when the license they willingly offer is directed at them. This summer was replete with far too many examples.

And you of course recall the silence of the senile one…until the polls moved against him?  That leadership?

Our politics suck. There is no commitment to what’s right, what’s necessary. Only a commitment to division fostering political advantage. Thanks for participating personally in their nonsense.

    A couple of thoughts:

-This team may be able to shoot free throws?

-There are scoring options. There are at least four or five guys who could be the leading scorer on any given night.

-Haas seems to engender a commitment to defend.

-I didn’t see North Carolina tonight. Rocky, do we have a shot tomorrow?

Complacency may be the most dangerous consequence of the virus.
-the virus is a readily available excuse for attendance that is cratering

-the virus keeps players out of action.  Convenient as a distraction to excuse performance shortcomings

-the virus can “explain” poor recruiting results. The staff couldn’t travel.

The virus feeds the predilection to dissemble. Issues avoidance facilitates inaction by go along to get along leadership. The virus fits Muir’s AD like a glove.

BTD, I read the suit filed by Sydney Powell re the conduct of the Georgia election. There are some assertions that counting was open to shenanigans without evidence confirming either that the tampering actually occurred or the actual impact on the final count. However it includes discovery requests to determine if there is supporting evidence.

Nonetheless there are straightforward matters of law that are included in the filing. They detail inappropriate/unconstitutionalacts that taint 2x, 3x, 4x the number of votes required to change the outcome.

Your suggestions that “The Mormons Did It” won’t feed the bulldog…unless Stacey Abrams & Marc Elias are Mormon?
