As I read articles like this that document the direct consequences of democratic policy, I find it easier to accept legends suggestion that many will ultimately decide to vote Orange.   *

Who votes to degrade their neighborhoods?  And the democrats refuse the opportunity for a “Sista Soldja” moment. No one says an unkind word about ANTIFA or BLM. Not as they ruin urban living or call for/excuse property theft in the name of reparations.

A cowering retreat from clarity in the face of criminality is not a unifying political narrative.

Maybe not Rocky?  I believe an element of the democratic china virus relief package, the Cares Act, is the repeal of the limits on deductibility of State & Local Taxes.  This is an oh so important initiative to combat covid and to put money in the hands of the proletariat.

Ahhh Rocky, what did those dogs tell the grand jury before they knew Clinesmith testified that they were in possession of the unaltered text?  What did they swear to the court after they saw the unaltered text?  What did they state under oath to Mueller’s clowns, the Congress and the IG after they saw the unaltered text?

Just for giggles, if & when did Yates, Comey & Rosenstein see the unaltered text?  Would a possible Yates indictment be made public before her virtual address to the DNC?

Lex, in this matter, I think you may be oblivious to the world around you.

Personally, if you didn’t occasionally make references to Northern California I would have no way to tell where you live. The same is true with respect to the St. Augustine pugilist. Your functionality/presence in this forum is location independent.

The virus is now obligating businesses to rapidly implement work from home programs. And the same technology infrastructure that permits you and Rocky to interact seamlessly on the Legend’s forum is facilitating employment changes with profound benefits for all parties involved. No more time lost commuting. The 45 hour work week has been reduced to 40 hours. Who won’t appreciate a 10% reduction in the work week?  An opportunity to significantly reduce expensive R/E investments to house the administrative work force. Capital requirements can be materially reduced.

And as we’ve seen, cost savings have driven call centers overseas. The same thing will happen now domestically. And what employers will stand in line to pay NY scale wages when work from home employees are available in Charleston West Virginia?

I think Rocky is right. The tectonic shift is underway. Large cities have become increasingly unlivable. People want out. And now, in many cases, they can take their job with them.

The tragedy here could be presented without the use of the term “hate crime”.  Divisive language favoring minority communities imposed by fools practicing identity politics is a disservice to our country.

Watching this play out BD, you must appreciate the power of incumbency.  You have Durham, the Israel/UAE deal, the vaccine/therapeutics development, the unemployment extension, the payroll tax deferral and some green shoots around the economy.

They may not break Orange but he’s got tangible cards to play that run contrary to the hoped for Biden narrative.

BD, this is during the political craziness of our four year election cycle. Not surprising that Netanyahu would play ball with the Orange One. Can this also be viewed as a major FU to Biden and the Obama/Biden Iran Nuclear Deal by the leadership of both countries?

Edit:    I just saw this in a news report about the deal.

“The United Arab Emirates and Israel will immediately expand and accelerate cooperation regarding the treatment of and the development of a vaccine for the coronavirus,” the White House said in a statement. “Working together, these efforts will help save Muslim, Jewish, and Christian lives throughout the region.”

Pretty opportunistic to use vaccine/therapeutics infrastructure to facilitate a deal of this importance.  I can’t imagine China is too happy about their unintended consequences?

It will be interesting to see who has flipped and accepted a plea deal. How much of the case is predicated on hard evidence and how much on “purchased” testimony. If the documents released to date are any indication, FBI, DoS & DoJ participants were not too concerned about a “paper“ trail.

Just as in warfare, there is a continuum of force in policing. We’ve already discussed the use  of nuclear weapons to end WW II.

We’ve seen a range of force in law enforcement over the last three months; from retreat, to stand down, to tasers, to lethal, to intentional. So where do you put K-9 units?

Fido behaved poorly in this case it appears. But I suspect deployment of dogs generally leads to preferred outcomes and reduce risks to suspects and officers both.

Review the K-9 training and move on. Much ado about nothing.
