    While I understand your point as to the authors, it’s the publishers who are investing their brands when they elect to publish such drivel.

    At the end of the day it is our politics.  No real difference with the Steele dossier in 2016 or weaponizing the FBI & our surveillance infrastructure. And Kamala has already directly revealed here political sensibilities.  After Harris admitted to having “lied her ass off” about Biden’s shortcomings because it was a “debate”, I doubt this will stop. Orange is a big boy, he’ll push back gently, no?

    Hmmmm, I wonder, might it be appropriate to describe Barr as Trump’s “wingman”?   :good:     LMAO

    The Orange One and his AG are no shrinking violets, thankfully…

    And look here Mick, your sweetie has been invited to the prom!

    Data will help inform whether the Department of Justice will initiate investigations under the Civil Rights of Institutionalized Persons Act (CRIPA) regarding New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan’s response to COVID-19 in public nursing homes“…”On March 3, 2020, the Attorney General announced the Justice Department’s National Nursing Home Initiative. This is a comprehensive effort by the department, led by the Elder Justice Initiative and in strong partnership with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that uses every available tool to pursue nursing homes that provide substandard care to their residents.  As announced on April 10, 2020, the department is also investigating the Soldiers’ Home in Holyoke, Massachusetts, where COVID-19 has taken the lives of at least 76 residents

    Is there a similar statute that applies to Schiff & Pelosi?  LMAO

    Every drug overdose death is tragic. A police officer was excessive. But the real criminals in this case are AG Keith, I’m a political hack, Ellison, the Minneapolis DA’s office and the Minnesota Governor. They sat on the “science” and let emotions based on knowingly inaccurate information drive the burning and looting of numerous American cities. They sat silent for far more than eight and a half minutes.

    Impeach them. Force them to personally pay reparations to citizens who’ve suffered property and business interruption losses.

    Thanks Rocky. Clinton walked on obvious documents and records destruction. Why not Winer too?

    There seems to be plenty of administrative misbehavior/possible criminality, but at this point there are few ties to election influence/political intrigue as a motivating factor?

    ps:  I’d love to see a reprise of “John Kerry, reporting for duty”, at the entrance to a federal pen. His repeated interactions with the Iranian government seems wrong to me.

    I read most states have taken up the Trump on the enhanced federal unemployment benefits. Most are not contributing local funds so the benefit is $300 a week.

    One has to wonder what the hell Pelosi and Schumer are thinking about as they work with Biden piloting their Democratic Titanic. They’re using their media face time to suggest  the Orange is an unconstitutional domestic enemy and that he’s plotting to use the post office to undermine democracy. Their COVID bill funds the post office exclusively

    I wonder what’s more powerful politically, hyperbolic bs & legislation that’s on a fast track to nowhere or $300 bucks a week to someone out of a job. And there are tens of millions of those “someones” out there; voting someones.

    I enjoyed the individual stories, less so the strident, Trump like efforts by Junior & Guilfoyle.

    Media types who have tried to denigrate the content from last night have focused on the strident tone and ignored the elements that I believe were highly effective. Fools are whistling through the graveyard.

    All a matter of perspective. I have loved flying cross country and watching the thunderstorms from above. Yet another bit of nature to enjoy.

    Damn, you’re making me feel stupid.

    Wouldn’t thunderstorms assist the firefighters and was particulates out of the air. Why do you want the wet weather to move off shore?

    Is that a good thing or bad?

    I presume with the fires it’s bad?  What’s normal?

    Viewership of Biden’s speech on Thursday was 17% below Clinton’s four years ago. The best night of a weak effort.  YouTube has been deleting dislikes from DNC out takes.  Is it YouTube with a thumb on the scale or more dirty tricks by Republicans efforting to cast shade on “the oh so likable Biden.”

    Next, how the Orange convention fairs.

    • The whole play was worthy of a quote from Julius Caesar…right down to the fireworks;

    ”When beggars die, there are no comets seen;
    The heavens themselves blaze forth the death of princes.”

    This was for and by those who have chosen politics as a career? Schooling the rubes about their own compassion and earnest effort for the collective good. Public service…yea, right.

    The political class’s willingness to lie is breathtaking. Here is Ron Klain, Biden Chief of Staff commenting on the administration’s response to H1N1. We got it wrong. 60 million got infected. It’s dumb luck it wasn’t a mass causality event. Said in 2019 no less.  (The first 75 seconds is the relevant portion.)

    I also note an unwillingness to capitulate when the inmates mistakenly believe they run the asylum.

    Politicians/educators/parents should perhaps use this as a case study to hone their messaging when trying to prepare young people for success?
