rjnwmillParticipantThat’s my gut as well Rocky. And the VP choice will hurt Biden materially. There’s no one on the “list”/in the party that fits his parameters who will have a positive impact.
An African American woman? That community is not positively viewed by Hispanics, Asians, or many honkies with the violence and the shortcomings in the educational system.
That basement Rocky, is the corner he’s painted himself into.

rjnwmillParticipantInteresting issues here…
- Why do we need our leaders to hide behind a political narrative/algorithm for health care allocation decisions. Will the approved decision rules be formally published?
- Does this suggest Obamacare is failing to provide adequate coverage to program participants?
- What social benefits are achieved from the new allocation scheme?
- Will this undermine the tenant of hard work as the preferred means to achieve one’s desired living standard?
- Why pray tell doesn’t the proposed algorithm shift the odds based on well understood risks associated with COVID infection? Wasn’t Cuomo’s nursing home faux pas sufficient to demonstrate the benefits from such an approach?
- Some political factions seek to expose law enforcement, business owners and religious organizations to strict liability for adverse outcomes resulting from COVID related decisions. Will politicians/public health officials face similar exposure should a non risk based approach increase mortality rates?

rjnwmillParticipantWas it “Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs” that suggests personal safety is pretty important? These Soros backed fools will wear out their welcome fairly quickly. Economically disadvantaged neighborhoods are demonstrably worse. Honkies spook easily.

rjnwmillParticipantSometime share the story on how you got involved with a minority investment in minor league Spanish soccer.
I had a similar discussion flying cross country with Bill Murray. He has ownership positions in minor league baseball teams. For him, he loved the game and the family enjoyed the summer trips to the Atlantic Coast.

rjnwmillParticipantI only read the abstract of the NEJM article you linked. It raises an obvious question. Are the NEJM and the Yale epidemiologist commenting on the same Brazilian based study results? The numbers of patients that are involved are somewhat different.
Further the NEJM abstract doesn’t comment or confirm earlier news reports that use of hydroxichloroquine was resulting in increased fatal outcomes.
Here is a link to Dr. Risch’s Newsweek article. It is a short read and worth your time. As is common with statistically based medical results, parameters drive results. Risch is clearly focused on early stage infections in high risk populations. From what I know of the risks associated with infection, this is a key population if one seeks to minimize mortality.
From the abstract alone I’m not at all sure the focus of the NEJM was on early treatment. Their results included patients already receiving oxygen therapy In their samples.

rjnwmillParticipantYou hung over from last night? It was a joke.
And as a lawyer, you’re smart enough to know one man’s “socialism” is another man‘s effort to unwind damaging monopolistic business practices that are anathema to the free market and society more generally. Worse here, a monopoly predicated upon a regulatory framework…a framework bought and paid for by big pharma. You surely understand pharmaceutical patent regulations. 17 years of legalized skim the cream. Rape and pillage at home while competing in a “fair market” overseas. You’re defending the guy in jail with the alphabet name and his epi-pen hi jinx.
Respond when you’re bright eyed and bushy tailed. You won’t see hypocrisy in every post.

“A lot of this has just become very bad theater. And this is only Act 1.”
But I fear you are right as rain. Anything politics touches now-a-days then suffers from necrosis of reason and responsibility.

rjnwmillParticipantTC, stupid may play in your regular circles. It won’t play here.
The Hill isn’t right wing media. The head of epidemiology at Yale isn’t one doctor. In fact he highlights global results from physicians/researchers independently substantiating his conclusions. Didn’t you read, or do you have a comprehension problem?
You can hang with the Senile One and his condemnation of hydroxychloroquine. Just let ‘em die. It’s good for your guy’s political aspirations.
You can remain focused on the importance of the Orange One and a mask. We all know BLM, ANTIFA, and your other friends are only too ready to mimic the Orange One. After all you guys ain’t smart enough to think for yourselves. You live in a nation of followers. It’s why free speech and independent thinking must be expunged in your world. Teleprompters for all. It’s the core of Build Back Better.

- Doesn’t this just work lockstep with obamacare and our slow shift to socialized medicine?
I didn’t benefit personally from Obamacare!

rjnwmillParticipantRocky, there is a record here that defines the Senile One, but I don’t see anyone in Orange making the case clearly.
The framing of the discussion as a conflict between local authorities and an overreaching Federal administration, see Pelosi, is false on its face.
Before Portland, before Minneapolis, before Seattle, before Baltimore, Chicago’s crime problems were well documented. Low and behold, the mayor of the city was the former Chief of Staff of the Obama White House.
If Emanuel had any interest in working in partnership with the federal authorities, any interest in leveraging the enhanced investigative capabilities embedded in the DC institutions to address the critical needs of the citizens, all it would take was a phone call. And because of his past service, the call would be taken. With Obama’s history with the city, when the call came, he’d “feel their pain”. Hell, he or Biden might pick up the phone and make that call themselves?
Between the three of them, Biden, Obama & Emanuel, nothing was done. In some part, innocent lives were lost along with those of street thugs. Hearts were broken. Rather than lead, the three co-conspirators elected to kick the proverbial can down the road so this ongoing tragedy could be subsequently recycled for personal political gain. The poor minority communities are again the pawns of Joe, “If you don’t vote for me, you ain’t black”, Biden.
This chronology, this degree of contempt for our economically disadvantaged is not and will not be actively integrated into a successful presidential campaign. Presented concisely, only the TC’s of this world will close their eyes and pull the lever for the senile one. He’ll trade a mask for dead children because he has an aversion to a man’s demeanor. He’ll play the fool for a kind and sympathetic voice, a jocular, “Stand up Bill” addressed to a man in a wheel chair because Biden didn’t bother to learn anything about the prop he was going to use at a political event, an event for his own personal gain. But TC’s guy did it with a smile? That disrespect and contempt can be papered over?
Only the TC’s in this world still believe any of these self serving clowns are men of high character, that the bent Biden, that the hair sniffing, gym raping Biden is in any way different than the Orange One. Such naïveté.
There are more than enough people who prioritize results and accountability.

rjnwmillParticipantLex, not Rasmussen, the trend. Poll manipulation as a means to suppress turnout is as old as politics Lex. You know this. How’d it work in 2016? And Charlemagne the God* just told Biden I’m never voting for you. Pick an African American woman and I’ll vote for the ticket. Is Biden operating from a position of strength in your opinion?
