ParticipantHe decreased the pool with idiotic promises as he pandered to the Left. I know he is not that courageous but I would choose a none of the above candidate.

ParticipantDe Blasio exhibits a shocking ignorance about people and incentives. His thoughts and beliefs are befuddling coming from an executive .

ParticipantThe pendulum is swinging. At some point people will get tired of lax law enforcement. In the meantime, the rest of us need to use common sense in protecting ourselves and families from criminals

ParticipantI don’t look at polls until after Labor Day.
I can’t believe that pollsters will knowingly skew their parameters to reflect their preferences. Why wouldn’t Quinnipiac, Monmouth etc…adjust their sampling methods to be more accurate. They must have faith in their results otherwise they are stupid or disingenuous or both.polls always tighten up later in the race. If they are within the margin of error by then, you will be correct as many voters are intimidated by the mob that they do indeed lie to pollsters.
finally , I second Roscoe in focusing on a few states that matter.

ParticipantMan , one has to have such tough skin to enter the arena. And poise. I worry, I would lose it and tell someone to fuck off.

ParticipantSo sad when people are so blindly emotional.

ParticipantToo little too late. They got close to real change but stopped short.
Roscoe my fear is always that when my Président goes socialist on a an issue he only opens the way for the Ds to outbid him. He offers 2 trillion in relief they go for 4. Infrastructure bill, X’ they want 3X. Drug prices is a populist issue more than left or right and your nemesis comes down on the populist side.July 26, 2020 at 7:14 pm in reply to: A new low for our politicians who live exclusively by science #1603gpn38

ParticipantNo matter what people think of Trump. He has exposed the CCP for what they are and no future president can ignore that we are in conflict with them. My money is on us, even with less aggressive conventional Administrations

ParticipantI will bring the topic back on course:). I don’t have insider visibility on the Covid clinical trial designs, but rest assured that there is very strict inclusion/ exclusion criteria for all these endeavors. Companies Merck et al) Regulators ( FDA, EMA) , IRB ( hospitals conducting trials). So I trust there are valid reasons for the way things are being run. Given how fast the players need to move with pressure from every segment of society, the cost/ benefit analysis gave us what we have. And no, there will not be a magic bullet vaccine ( too much we don’t know about Covid) and no, not by the fall and no not everyone that wants it will get it initially.

ParticipantI thought our guys would be leading an effort like that.
This subject is very interesting. The disruption of the NCAA is coming closer.

ParticipantWhen I was reading this, I was impressed that Brown would go up against the effete Portland mayor. Then I finished reading and wanted to barf at the disingenuousness.
