ParticipantInteresting and a little odd as Colorado is also a Blue State now. The lunatics will soon run that state soon. Gun laws are already being tightened.

ParticipantI don’t know if that is a smart political decision. Maybe Mick is right. She is stupid. Lots of Big Blue fans out there. If I ran against her my motto would be simple “ she took away Football”.
btw, your title made me think a Gretchen gave the players an STD called COVID.gpn38
ParticipantWho are the ex bootboard posters now on cardboard. Curious to see who the anyone but Trump folks from our past are.

ParticipantThe proof will be in the pudding.
Will the good people of Baltimore vote her into office based on the message or does she mostly connect with us old guys.gpn38
ParticipantYuck. One of my daughters is thinking of moving there.
And one more time if these idiots take their voting patterns with them, they are just buying time before they turned their escape town into what they fled.gpn38
Participant
I think more people will vote for Trump despite not liking him than you realize GR. It may not be enough to re-elect him, but a lot of people think his policy agenda has been on balance OK, and not nearly the disaster that Dem governance brings. Would I want trump to be my CEO? Not at all. If had to choose between Trump and Kamala? Trump all day long. Trump is nasty, defensive, and bombastic, but I believe he is pushing an agenda that is better for the country and the world than what Biden would bring. I can write that without needing to reference any conspiracy theories or tweets. The policy agenda is simply better. I say this having said that I would vote for Biden if he had run in 16. Now? Not likely.[/
I couldn’t have said it better Legend.
people always ask me the same question. Would I hire Trump as CEO of one of my companies. My initial answer is no. He seems like an a hole to his employees, but then I alter my answer by a) saying I would hire him for a turn around situation ( and believe me after eight years of Obama ‘ s politicies this country was a turn around) and b) if my other choice was Hilary or Jomala.-

ParticipantMy answers 1 through 4 align with Lex. On 5, I would add the airlines, retail.
But, the right doesn’t need all inner city voters, it needs to peel off enough of the monolithic vote patterns to make states like MI, WI, MN competitive in national elections.

ParticipantBarr and Durham strike me like the kind of guys who will do the Right thing no matter who wins or loses. My partisan self hopes this thing unfolds before the required 60 day moratorium. As this was an egregious politicizing of one of our most cherished institutions. But if it doesn’t I will respect the protagonists as compared to Comey, Yates, McCabe etc… And Biden/Harris will bury the story were they to win in Nov.

ParticipantObama would get another ( as well deserved)Nobel peace prize for this. Today, nothing to see.
re Lebanon/ Hezbollah. Many Lebanese would gladly throw them under the bus, but the political/ military leverage is highly skewed towards the hezb. So Lebanon will be the last to normalize though common sense dictates they should be the first.gpn38
ParticipantSpring football season. That should be fun. Things are dead for me after the super bowl this should alleviate that.

Participant
I am getting tired of logging in every time. Tried PL’s trick to no avail. So here it is… won’t vote for Biden. Won’t vote for Trump. Will vote NO on all tax matters on the ballot. Hope Biden stays alive and whoever wins I will be pulling for Haley in 2024. At least she is civil. Monday in Chicago was awful. That’s why we have National Guards. But they have crappy training in crowd control and need to come up to speed. It’s up to the governors to send them in but the pussy govs’ are afraid of offending the Left. I am much more confident in the country than some gate-protected people who post from right wing sources but we must keep order. Going to be a rocky ride in many ways but we are in a whole lot better shape than we were in on Dec. 6, 1941.
i have voted no on all as matters on the ballot for ten years and I keep losing:)

ParticipantWise decision. Still too many unknowns and instability out there. By the Spring, hopefully there will be vaccines, the election will be out of the way and the hysteria will be dying down.

ParticipantLove the WH’s negotiating tactics. If we can’t agree the Executive will go at it alone. You sue us to stop payments and we will tell everyone you don’t care about the American public. You go along, you lost. You come back to the negotiating table you are by definition in a weaker position,
Nancy and chuck are relegated to faux outrage.

Participant

I think he has no good choice. Of course, that often happens when you artificially narrow the candidate pool by selecting on race and gender.
Agree. No good choices that can bring some votes or swing a state or two as a dowery. But Biden is still the best politician in America with nothing to say. And there’s nothing wrong with Biden that a miracle can’t fix. He’s the favorite.
re Biden is the best ….
no shit. The guy is leading by 6 to 9 points in national polls by hiding in his basement.
now I see why the Teachers Associations don’t want to go back to school. As faithful democrats, they believe they can teach from their basements.

ParticipantNice post Rocky. People hate him so much that they don’t realize how he tirelessly is working on the country’s problems. While taking $0 in current compensation. Can you imagine the fawning if Obama had donated his salary to the Vets.
