Trump nominated good people. They’re not backstabbers.   But the Justices are only human and they too now live under mob threats on their families.  We all do.

More likely the Roberts court is all about finding a way not to rule about anything of substance.  Roberts did rewrite Obamacare rather than reject it.

Our downward spiral is essentially accelerating with every compromise like this.

Oregon again.  They should issue license plates with skull and crossbones.

We used to agree on basic fundamental principles and contest process.  We now agree on nothing.

Here’s some math.  The Great Society cost 22 Trillion.  Poverty is 15% higher than 1966.  Some good things happened but only as a result of our economic system.

Why does California require signature verification for Newsom’s petition but no requirement for any ID for the Federal Election at the voting place?

If you listen closely to the video (The Mandarin translation has been verified) the speaker is not shy at all about the horrible racial slur he makes about the powerful and wealthy China friendly Jewish woman who took care of things for his group in a Washington visit.  She is likely close to Feinstein. Speaks fluent Mandarin, has been a resident of China for over 35 years.

The speaker is not confessing anything but rather bragging about how easy it is to buy American influence.  It’s a terrifying message of the control the CCP has over our politicians and Wall St.

Mick, I think that story came from The Onion.  Pretty convincing though.

Yes, why abase yourself.   What happens with the Donald McNeils of the world is that they hear the apology whisperer in their mind and lose their nerve.  A lot of guys buckle under a little pressure today.  Especially with women.

Sometimes I look back and figure I should have made an apology for this or that.  Then I think about it for about 5 seconds and think “nah”.  No guilt at all.  The trick is to absolve yourself in woke world.

In a perfect world everyone would do their job.  But freedom is sloppy.  The problem is that the people who you want to work hard and get it right are those that insist on a perfect world but actually prefer tyranny, tenure and sinecure.
https://www.cnn.com/interactive/2021/politics/biden-executive-orders/index.html 49 executive orders in the first fifteen days of Biden’s administration (per CNN). At the depths of the Great Depression, FDR did 30…in his entire first month. Of course, FDR won the popular vote in 1932 by almost 20%. King Joe is making quite an impression with his government by fiat. And that’s with Democratic majorities in the Senate and the House. Good thing he doesn’t need Congress. He’s sure getting a lot done in the absence of any legislative discussions without having to talk to all those icky Republicans or paying any attention at all to 74 million Deplorable opinions.
Apparently, Biden had a little help getting these 49 EOs through quickly.  Bill Barr.   The DOJ blocked 30 Trump EOs ready to go after the election and fast tracked Biden’s by Barr’s Office of Legal counsel.  You could say that Barr was Biden’s first AG.

The first presidents issued a few EOs in general terms.  The first by Washington “to impress me with the full, precise and distinct general idea of the affairs of the United States in their fields”.  Pretty sensible.

Roosevelt issued 3751 EOs.   But he took it a step further by appointing SCOTUS justices in line with his views. (8 total).

His first EO was to forbid banks to release gold coin or bullion.  Pretty extreme  I’d say.   He also personally pegged the price of gold.

I see Biden issuing EOs targeted at the 1st and 2nd amendment, voting, religion, law enforcement.

Executive orders are ideological band aids.  For all we know Joe may have been told that he was signing Valentine Cards.   What I’m saying is that Joe’s shelf life as President is pre-planned and short.  Do some dirty work up front and get your successor off the hook.  I imagine once the economy picks up and the Wuhan virus winds down, Joe announces victory and that he is resigning due to his health.    Hope for Joe’s good health.  However bad he may be his No 2 is that squared.   I wish him well.

Exactly who is running the country right now?  With all of the things you mentioned above, who is in charge?  Why wouldn’t Biden make a couple of phone calls by now to the west coast governors to put a stop to the riots and looting? Who’s telling him not to?

1. Biden
2. Obama
3. Bernie Sanders
4. The K Street big money PACs
5. Mike Bloomberg
6. Pelosi/Schumer
7. Wall St
8.  Silicon Valley

And in an odd twist of events I believe Tulsi Gabbard will gain enormous clout over everyone should no Republican Senators defect.
