Speaking of clips here’s an interesting one.

Humor is pretty good messaging.   Good to see once in a while.

We are going to be led now by those whose outer words are not consistent with what is in their heart.  Slippery, sneaky, ambiguous, without core values and principles. That’s the smile part of the picture.

There was a 26% increase in counted votes in both elections from 2016 and 2018.  3.9 million to 4.9 million out of 7.2 million registered.  Biden jumped 4% in 2020 over HRC in 2016 and 4% over Obama both times.  Hard to believe for a candidate who was AWOL .

The shift to blue was due to pandemic politics.  Lock-it-down, then mail-in-voting. Outside money.  Pandemic cash.  No drift at all.

    Not going away.  Ever.
He’s joined the Aaron Burr Club. Other criminal theories about Trump are farcical. But this is beyond the pale. You bring him to trial in the near future. To do otherwise is to sanction this sort of behavior. Treason.
I expected him to go to trial for something after he leaves office.  Might as well be treason. Being a Putin puppet didn’t work.  Impeachment was too soft.  And let Kamala pardon him.  I always thought that was the plan.  I like your drama by the way but there is one problem with your plan.  Trump might love it and make everyone look like a fool.   Better to let sleeping dogs lie.

Occam’s Razor.  Give people a choice to vote for $2,000 to $5,000 right into their bank account or nothing and they will always take the money.  All you have to do  is fill out a ballot.  Easy call.  Perfect storm.

Young people have always looked to role models to emulate when they grew up.  Now it looks like it’s better to focus on anti-models.  People you don’t want to be like.

The Chinese know it’s easier to fool someone than to convince someone they have been fooled.

To be honest, I don’t think the Court was capable of rendering a fair judgement.  And they knew  it.  The court mostly consists of 9 elderly justices who are grounded in the law only.  Even at that they often make it up as they go along.  ACA?

Imagine, if you will,  9 justices who combined, were grounded in statistical mechanics, information theory, higher math, probability theory, computer coding, and electrical engineering.  Then you might see them give it a look and still lose.

The problem is the entropy in an election of this size.  One side clearly understood that well before the voting began.  The other failed to consider all risks and act beforehand.
https://www.foxnews.com/media/chinese-spy-eric-swalwell-cnn-broadcast-networks-ignore SFGate covered the story with a summary. Unclear when other networks will begin covering this story. The media is so politicized that they cannot be relied upon to report news.
So why is SFGate afraid to ask Swalwell to resign?  Seems like a slam dunk.

Reporters used to be blue collar. They worked their way up.  Now they are required to have a trust fund. They want to be liked by the right people. And hated by the right people.  You end up with toxic news with no benefits to the reader.

I also expect Hunter Biden to be nominated Ambassador to China.

    Why not.  What the hell.

Georgia election official Gabriel Sterling is upset.  And he wants everyone to know he’s upset so he goes on a self-righteous rant winding up on the highly anti-social media platform called YouTube.   A lot of people took the bait.  Media outlets jumped on it.

Bottom line, Sterling’s job was to run a clean election in his appointed area.  Whether or not he did doesn’t really matter now because lot of people disagree with the outcome for legitimate reasons.  It’s ok to disagree.    In my state, there were no disputes about the outcomes because the people who ran the elections knew what they were doing.  And my guy lost but I’m confident in the results.  My guess about the highly frustrated Gabriel Sterling is that he is incompetent.  Understands nothing about risks in the election world.   And now he’s wondering why things have gone sideways.   Man up Gabe.

These people have always been lurking in the weeds going back to Rome.    I know some of them and what’s interesting is the certainty with which they hold their positions.  Their idealism always increases with their distance from the problems.  Edward Teller said in his memoirs that he believed in evil and  it was the property of all people who were certain of the truth.  Sounds like Kate Brown to me.

It would be interesting to see what these leftist governors would do if genuine antifascist protesters were to descend upon Silicon Valley and some prestigious universities to peacefully shake the box for a year or so.  You know, like Portland.   What would these governors do?

The Vietnam body count is a pretty good analogy.  When I was in boot camp in 1969 I always took the time every weekend to get a newspaper to check the weekly body count..  (400-700/week). I was 11B20 and had a vested interest to say the least.  It was like watching a movie in slow motion in which you were to soon make an appearance.  This virus is similar to watching a movie in slow motion.  You watch the death count and you know it’s going to climb.  The mind tricks you into the the faulty association that cases rise and the death rate climbs too.   I was telling an infectious disease MD recently at lunch that many people associate Covid with death.  They are certain that they will be on a vent and die if they get it.  He looked at me in disbelief.

For history it would be better to refer to this virus as the Wuhan virus.  That’s what it is.  Born, bred and executed in a lab from Wuhan.  Named Covid by WHO to sugar coat it for China.

Trump has given us peace and prosperity for the last 4 years which is what I voted for.  But History will show that the virus got him.  I don’t believe in coincidences and I just find that there are too many associated with the Wuhan virus and the politics of it all right through the election.  We now know what a biological attack could look like regardless of this being intentional or not. It’s a different world.

Musk says he can’t be sure if he has the virus but he thinks he does. He’d have to take another test to be break the 2/2 tie.   However, the Cares Act states that all lab test must be reported.  I think if I were tested, I’d request a retest if positive and maybe one if negative.   The Act is very specific as to reporting.

Covid data lab procedure seems to point to Musk having 2 reportable cases.  Or 2 negatives.
