In general there are two overarching tendencies in the US. One I will call “traditional” believes that America is special, it is a great country, melting pot. city on the hill, land of opportunity etc… not perfect by any means but close.  60 to 65% of the population.

The other I will call “ secular”thinks  that this whole experiment ( borrowing from detocqueville ) is a scam built on the backs of the indigenous people and slaves. To them, America was never great and needs to be brought to its knees for penitence and changed from the inside out. 25 to 35% but they control all levels of education, the media, Hollywood and a meaningful piece of the judiciary

You are correct Legend. If the Orange One doesn’t win, he will turn the experience into winning somewhere else at something else.

More interestingly for me, if he doesn’t win, it might be the first time we have our own version of a shadow government with tweets ( followed by millions of people) criticizing the Ds at every level. Trump unleashed will be fun.

I agree. It is a no brainer. Mechanistically well understood. There are several other publications from respected sources showing encouraging results. I think that L CEB ers should be on 5000-10000 daily doses.

Now if Trump says anything positive about D, then forget it.

I dread the debates for several reasons:

    1) if Biden shows up, the press will crown him the winner. Period.

    2) if Biden chokes, 49.9 % of the electorate and 80 plus per cent of Democrats

will still vote for him proving once and for all that the American people are

    stupid beyond belief.

    3) if Trump ko s Hiden Biden, the suburban mother’s are going to object to

his being “ mean” and will vote for Jo anyway because it’s trophies for

    everyone.
That’s a really good analogy. I used to call them corporate reptiles. They’re at their worst when they start talking about ethics or impossible goals. First they bring in a consultant like Booz Allen who knows exactly what to give them. Then the consultants create a report to justify before the board what they want. Then they always bring in a hatchet man at the VP level who does the employee slaughter. He/she stays around for a couple of years and then they vanish when the executions are complete.
i am lucky that I sniff out the type but it does the world no good if most people don’t …

sociopaths is what they are and the shtick works because they believe their own crap hence the pathology.

    bingo BD.

Also, if people are told every day, this a racist country, and we are all guilty and responsible for every bad thing that happens to people of color, then we might start thinking relations are tense.

I try to respond to as many posts put up here for the specific reason that I don’t want this board to wither.

having said that, it feels klugy.

If we lose in two months, we and the terry twos will be dead before the policies brought in through jomala destroy our America.

Trump told Laura Ingraham, it was “ stupid rich people” who would b3 the first to be disposed of when the rioters prevailed.

i am surprised that given today’s social media prevalence, an enterprising journalist hasn’t traced the professional rioters and their handlers and backers. Or just the FBI.
Michael Moore is the only person of whom I’m aware that called the 2016 election for Trump before I did. He’s very much on top of that voter demographic and he’s right to sound the alarms. What people don’t understand is that the average voter doesn’t want to be identified as a Trump voter…to anyone, and certainly not to pollsters. I still don’t think Trump will be re-elected and the Republicans will lose both the House and Senate, but the Presidential election will be closer than I thought. Once the Democrats capture all three and Biden slides out of office and President Kamala Harris is sworn in (summer of 2021 is my guess), they’ll be overconfident and think they have a mandate, not realizing that people will have voted against Trump in the same way that they once voted against Hillary. They’ll return to forgetting about (and cr@pping upon) the lower middle and middle classes. In the old days, the Dems forgot about blue collar white voters. In these brave new times, the blue collar white voters are to be actively disliked because they’re, well, you know…white. And therefore deserving of disgust and hatred. The midterm elections won’t be kind to the Dems.
i

I am not going to predict the winner of this election, but right now I would rather be Red than Blue…

and Cornfed is right: the expectations for Biden are so low, that all he has to do is show up and CNN will annoying him as the winner.

If Melania was a Democrat, the adulation would never stop. Look at the way the sycophants licked Michelle Obama’s boots for eight years. The hypocrisy is   Mind boggling. Legal immigrant, classy, elegant, pretty, but she married the wrong guy so she is fair game.

as to the designers; if a right wing designer refused to work for MO, they would be cancelled overnight. Whom am I boycotting by the way. 🙂

finally Loren Powell jobs is an avowed left winger.
